Hey there! My name is Jack and I’m the proud owner of HorseRoots.com.
I’ve been around horses my whole life and I’ve always had a deep love and respect for these beautiful creatures.
I grew up on a farm and my family raised horses, so I’ve been around them since I was just a little tyke.
Some of my fondest memories are of riding and taking care of my horses.
I even competed in a few local rodeos when I was younger (and let’s just say I was a lot more successful at the horse stuff than the rodeo stuff).
But my love for horses goes beyond just riding and competing. I’m also passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others. That’s why I started HorseRoots.com – to create a community for horse enthusiasts to come together and learn from each other.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – “HorseRoots? That’s a weird name for a website.” Well, let me tell you a little story about how I came up with it.
One day, I was out on the farm working with one of my horses when I noticed that she was trying to nibble on the roots of a tree.
I thought to myself, “Horses are so connected to their roots – the roots of the trees, the roots of their ancestors, the roots of their culture and history.
It’s all so interconnected.” And just like that, HorseRoots.com was born.
I currently live and work on the farm in Ocala, Florida, where I’m surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and lush pastures.
It’s the perfect place to be a horse lover, and I feel so blessed to be able to call it home. I mean, sure, it gets hot as heck down here in the summer, but at least we have the horses to cool off in the pond with!
